About us

The Institute for Theater Therapy (ITT) is the institute for education and training, projects and research of the German Society for Theater Therapy.

It offers and initiates advanced training, education and research on the use of artistic media in the development of potentials in situations of change and in phases of restructuring. It addresses people from various social and therapeutic professional fields.

Once a year  it hosts together with the DGfT the Summer Academy as an international symposium for drama and theater therapists as well as for interested professionals from science, education, social and health care. Cooperation with related and complementary stakeholders takes place on the national and international level.
