Systemic Supervision and Creative Coaching
Certified vocational training 2023 – 2024
for drama therapists and other artistic therapists
Supervision is a compound word from the Latin super = above and videre = to see. Thus, supervision is loosely translated as “looking from above”, helping to stabilize – but also to irritate. Sometimes it is easier to find one’s way out of a “Thought circles” that has crept in crept in, if a different perspective is taken. This can be irritating but helpful.
Coaching refers to a structured accompaniment of a client by a coach, e.g. on questions of everyday professional life (leadership, communication, organization and cooperation). In doing so, the coach acts as a neutral and critical partner and, depending on the goal, uses instruments from the spectrum of personnel and management development.
Especially in a therapeutic context, supervision/coaching occasions are usually characterized by complexity, dynamics, emotions and transference. They can be accurately captured and processed in two- and three-dimensional images and scenes. Therefore, we complement the language-based methodology of supervision/coaching with the repertoire of artistic therapies, especially theater therapy.
therapies, especially drama therapy.
